David Varn is one of the newest members of the Hoyt C. Murphy, Inc. Realtor’s team in the Fort Pierce Office. Mr. Varn is a fourth-generation Fort Pierce resident. Jean Brown (David’s grandmother) was a long-time agent with Hoyt C. Murphy’s Fort Pierce Office as well. The Varn Family has been in the Citrus industry since 1942.
Graduating from Stetson University in DeLand, Florida with a Bachelor’s degree in English in 1994, Mr. Varn will assist in any documentation needs required in real estate. He was a Sports Writer in Jacksonville right out of college. Mr. Varn then was with Northwestern Mutual for four years in the financial services industry. He has been with his family citrus business for the past six years.
Mr. Varn has always loved land. He has studied real estate as a hobby for several years with the sincere belief real estate is a very valuable asset. Mr. Varn thought getting his license was a natural fit since he drives by land all day long, running citrus crews and overseeing groves. Mr. Varn has extensive knowledge of land in St. Lucie County. However, he wants to assist in all your real estate needs whether residential, commercial, development, or vacant land. Mr. Varn knew Hoyt C. Murphy, Inc. Realtors’ reputation as the leading St. Lucie County broker for large land and commercial properties and that is why he placed his license here.
Family is the top priority, for Dave as he loves spending time with wife Laura, daughter Adriana (14 months old), and mother-in-law Lupe. Mr. Varn enjoys to play in the pool with his wife and daughter. He also loves to surf (when there are waves), which starts around October and he plays Ultimate Frisbee.
